Hi! Is there a way to make JabRef let the operating system decide which program will be used to open a file?

Maybe it is a degenerated use of the program, but I thought it would be useful to make the program open other file formats because i could join in one database the articles and source codes from SCILAB, MATLAB, Origin, and other third party software used to study or create my articles.

If it's not possible to make JabRef make such feature, an "open target directory" command or mouse menu instead would be extremely helpful and comfortable to manage the files i need.
