#1226 Unable to open version 2.10

The last time Jab Ref was working, I tried to install a patch which I think damaged the source code. Now, I have tried uninstall, reinstall and even Windows restoration point to a date well behind the app crash.

I hope someone is able to help me because I am a Jabref enthusiast and heavy user.
