We're using iTalc in a rather big environment with many rooms in different buildings. In order to avoid interferences we decided not to use a single globalconfix.xml but one for each room instead. This works just fine except for the fact that we're using roaming profiles and thus have a "global" personalconfig.xml for each teacher which in turn causes problems...

Our current workaround is to simply delete any existing personalconfig.xml at logout (and login just in case ;-)). However, I think a way to customize the location of the personalconfig.xml would be a much better approach.

This is possible with a registry edit for the globalconfig.xml to change its location on the system.

It is also possible to do this with the personalconfig.xml. Please check the wiki @ http://italc.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?title=Customizing_paths_to_keys_and_config-files More information is there, but I would imagine that if you have already customized the globalconfig's location then you can do the personalconfig with no problem. Same procedure.
