Hi! I've got a Nokia 6100 phone and a Sigmatel stIr4200-based USB IrDA device. I managed to compile the driver I found for this device (version 0.1b) and got it working. It seems to work fine, except when I put my phone in front of the device. The irdadump program rarely writes anything that my phone answers (it sometimes writes a row that my phone answered, it is a Nokia6100, with IrCOMM & IrOBEX support, etc). In proc/.../discovery I can also see sometimes my phone. If I check ifconfig, it reports about every second received frame to be bad... I set the MTU to 2042, played with the minimum & maximum turn times. It is interesting that in certain moments I can use my phone's modem with wvdial through /dev/ircomm0, but in most of the cases wvdial reports "Modem not responding" Everything works fine with my friend's Samsung C100... My kernel version is 2.4.22. What can I do? Thanks in advance. Miklos Pocsaji. |
