First of all, let me clarify that I'm a "normal" Linux user, not a hacker or a
software developer, and I use Linux for pretty basic tasks (mail, surf, learn
some HTML, etc.), so... bear with me, please!
I'm one of the unlucky owners of a Mobile Action's MA-620 USB-IrDA dongle,
that I wanted to use to exchange some data with a Win2K notebook and a Palm
handheld but that, obviously enough, I never managed to use on my Dell 8200
running Mandrake Linux 9.0.
About 2 months ago Jurij Smakov and Jean Tourrilhes posted a couple of
messages about some advances in using the MA-620, though not enough to make
it fully and automatically usable.
Well, are there any further advances since then?
Thanks in advance for any info and help.
