I just happened to read the Howto in details yesterday, and in
two places it talk about printing, but only as a *client*. When I say,
as a *client*, the Linux box is trying to send a printing job to an
Now, this question was about printing support as a *server*,
where an IrDA device sends print jobs to the Linux box. To me, this
seems different enough that I don't believe it's currently covered in
the Howto, and I felt justified to make this request.
Of course, I may have blown a fuse and be totally wrong...
You may note that in the past, most usage of Linux was as a
client, and now that people are embeddeding Linux in various kind a
"appliances", you see a lot more people asking for server support.
Maybe that's another thing you want to start pointing out more
clearly in the Howto, "client" versus "server" support ("Connection
to" versus "Connection from").
