I know only of two implementations, KC (ESI/Actisys) and
SigmaTel. Both doesn't seem to do MIR. The KC (which has a Linux
driver) doesn't report MIR support, and the SigmaTel specs show
clearly that it doesn't do MIR (no Linux driver).

That would work with some *big* caveats, because of IrCOMM
limitations. On the other hand multi-dongle IrSock and IrNET works
