Interesting... most of my problems stemmed from the fact that the driver would let my irda port work in transmit but not receive when the dongle_id was set incorrectly. For a sony vaio z505ls the driver is nsc-ircc and the dongle_id should be 0x09. I'm curious about the ultra protocol and the hp beacons. Are the beacons described in more detail on the cooltown site? You can use e-Squirt sample apps to emulate beacons, and I think we have the various actual beacon source code in the CVS on cooltown. The pain is getting the hardware. > Thanks, > > Felix Jean |
