Hi ALL!

I have a system hangup using STLabs 4220 IrDA adaptor sometime

and can't set up valid config to connect my Siemens S55 via STLabs 4220

My config is below:

Kernel Linux titan 2.6.14-std26-up-alt3 #1 Fri Jan 13 12:29:59 MSK 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

Host name "titan", two dongles plugged to USB ports

STLabs 4220 assigned to irda0

Tekram IRmate 410U assigned to irda1

[root@titan ~]# ip l set irda1 up; ip l

1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue

link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00

2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000

link/ether 00:11:11:7e:f7:4c brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

4: irda0: <NOARP,UP> mtu 2048 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 8

link/irda

5: irda1: <NOARP,UP> mtu 2048 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 8

link/irda

No problem to find my Siemens S55 irda interface by IRmate 410U

[root@titan ~]# irdadump -i irda1

Using interface: irda1

11:17:48.782219 xid:cmd db8ee903 > ffffffff S=6 s=1 (14)

Well now I try to see my Siemens by STLabs 4220:

[root@titan ~]# irdadump -i irda0

Using interface: irda0

11:18:06.695354 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=0 (14)

11:18:06.783335 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=1 (14)

11:18:06.871339 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=2 (14)

11:18:06.959346 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=3 (14)

11:18:07.047349 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=4 (14)

11:18:07.135355 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=5 (14)

11:18:07.223360 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=* titan hint=0400 [ Computer ] (21)

11:18:09.695524 xid:cmd ca71d5b9 > ffffffff S=6 s=0 (14)

11:18:09.755228 i:rsp < ca=00 pf=0 nr=0 ns=0 LM slsap=3f dlsap=7f CONN_CMD (16)

As it showed above no valid response via STLabs 4220.

Can anybody helps me why I can't see Siemens S55 for this case?

Sometime, when Siemens S55 port on a STLabs viev, my system hanged up,

may be by core crash - I seen nothing in KDE in that moments :(
