Brief summary: 0.6 have been in beta stage for more than 3 months. Dozens of bugs have been fixed, but we have to release some day. We recently had two feature addition requests for 0.6: SHA2 support and PKCS7 support. 0.6 is now in release candidate stage, and I don't think it's a good idea to add features now. This could trigger new bugs and lead to a lower quality release. People want SHA2 and PKCS7 in a stable release. We can understand that. Here is my proposal: We release 0.6 right now, and immediatly after that, I pull up SHA2 support to the 0.6 branch and integrate PKCS7 support, then I make a 0.6.1beta1. We would release 0.6.1 within one month. Is everyone happy with that? NB: I'm still awaiting PKCS7 patch that applies HEAD. -- Emmanuel Dreyfus http://hcpnet.free.fr/pubz ma...@ne... |
