Well, if you need to set up title and such, but i plan to use txt2ipod as a basis for my rss2ipod which get RSS feed and puts them on the iPod. Hi, I was wondering why txt2ipod.pl is necessary. It seems that you are just sprinkling some html tags in there. Bastien, While it appears that this project may still be active, I don't think this mailing list is. I've been subscribed to this list for a couple of months now, and yours are the first messages I've seen from it. You might have better luck getting a response from the Sourceforge forums, here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=52976 The last post to the "General Discussion" forum was a couple weeks ago, so I'd assume there's still work going on. Heya, Here are a couple of patches (literrally). itunesdb2-glib2.patch: use glib2, fix typo libipod-more-glib.patch: use glib2, add iPodGetSong* helpers, replace (some) hackish C code with the glib equivalent (usually shorter), make iPod->dbpath actually contain the path to iTunesDB, added some functionality to testprogram.c (lists all the songs in the master playlist). I'll be adding some code to get a tihm_t from a file (so that I can copy a file to the Music folder of the iPod, then get the tihm_t, and add it to the playlist). Heya, I couldn't lookup the archives, sourceforge is borked again. I was looking for some kind of status on this software. I'd like to write a gnome-vfs method on top of that (I don't think I care much about the playlists, but then again, I just bought the kit and put about 12 songs on it, so I might be wrong). I'd like to get all the songs appearing under ipod: and easily add/remove songs. Is /mnt/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iPod the same format as the iTunesDB? db_create seems to fail on my iPod.
