hi, i have a 4g ipod with hfs+ filesystem and i'm trying to mount it in my linux (mandrake 10.1, kernel 2.6.8). In fact, i suceeded once, but after that occasion, i could not repeat the mounting. i type dmesg and i get lots of buffer i/o messages, of the kind...
Buffer I/O error on device sda, logical block 4
    and finally,
    end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 65601
HFS+-fs: unable to find HFS+ superblock

it seems that the disk is in some way damaged, but the fact is that i can listen to all the mp3, included the ones i uploaded the only time i mounted the ipod.

can anyone help me? is the disk repairable?

    thanks in advance
