[I originally sent this message from a different e-mail address, which got held up for moderator approval. I'm sorry if it appears twice.] I've read and re-read the VPN How-To, but must be missing something. When I attempt to establish a VPN to IpCop 1.3 + all fixes from an XP + SP1 laptop, all seems to go okay. However, when I try to ping the green side of the IpCop machine, I only get "Negotiating IP Security" messages. Win XP ipsec.conf conn office left=%any leftsubnet= right=216.bbb.ccc.ddd (the static IP of the IpCop box) rightsubnet=192.168.19.0/24 (the subnet behind IpCop) presharedkey=**************** (my real key is here) network=auto auto=start pfs=yes IpCop ipsec.conf conn roadwarrior compress=no left=216.bbb.ccc.ddd (the static IP of the IpCop box) leftsubnet=192.168.19.0/24 (the subnet behind IpCop) leftnexthop=%defaultroute type=tunnel authby=secret pfs=yes right=%any rightsubnet= rightnexthop=%defaultroute auto=add After failing with the above config, I tried swapping the left and right info on the XP machine, but with the same results. Any suggestions are appreciated, especially while I still have some hair. Thanks, Mark |
