As artur_k's message:

i connected usb mmc reader with an sd card
in dmesg i get all good info - card is mounted as sda with sda1 and sda2 partitions
can you tell me how to mount them on SDCARD?
sda1 is fat16
sda2 is ext2

i connected usb sd card reader with 512mb sd card to ipaq's usb host
when i look on the terminal emulator, type dmesg i can see that it's correctly recognised

i don't know how to make android to mount SDA1 and SDA2 on /SDCARD and /mnt/SDCARD mount points

one more thing in terminal on the ipaq i cannot type in any numbers - why?

i'm not a developer
btw. for me your last build works quite well
didn't freeze even once
wifi is fine - browsing the net, no problem
cf card not leaving any trace in log so i assume it's not supported yet</backquote>

Currently USB host driver is written by Oliver Ford and enabled in the kernel (and seems working). But I don't know how to make Android (Vold2) mount any media attached through it. I also don't have a USB host cable so I can't do anything right now. If anyone has a USB host cable and would like to help, take this ticket.

    Perhaps you can try dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard 1 /block/sda and dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard 2 /block/sda
    or
    dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /block/sda

But this will conflict with the later update to mounting the internal mmc reader. You can try adding another mount point (remember to add in init.rc)
