Very useful program...
After reading the forum I find it does not work with win 98.
Has any revision been done to allow this?
There was some mention of "loadLin" to make it work.
But no explanation of how to do that, and no replies.
I also would like to install Xubuntu using instalLux.
Is this possible?
If you were to obtain the source code from the SVN repository and compile a version of Instlux you would be able to use the software on anything from Windows 95 to Windows Vista (with the exception of Windows ME). I believe it should only be a couple more weeks at most before this new version is available. Jordi would be able to give you a definite answer.
Windows98 will be supported on the next release (you can download the code from the svn). The next release will be for sure when the next openSUSE release, as work is being done with the openSUSE team in order to distribute it inside the official CD/DVD.
sounds good -- can't wait for the Ubuntu net install that will work from Win98.
when's the next release?
oh, and how would one make loadLin do the work in the meantime?
