It will definatly help me to improve logo. I am little bit confused about IndLinux logo and Rangoli logo. Before proceeding further some points must have to clear for me. For which we are designing logo? Rangoli or IndLinux? I think IndLinux logo is allready finished which is on indlinux.org. Will mascot for IndLinux different from logo? Generally they remains same (Redhat eg.). If we tack pecock as mascot then where we will use it? I agree with you to use minimal colors and stroks in logo. But in changing world, definations for good looking logo are also changed. See http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/images/news/firefox.png http://www.starthomepage.com/custom/images/windows/windows_logo.gif and http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/images/tbird/tbird4.jpg If we use a colorfull atractive logo it will make a good impression to users insted of monotone logo. what you say friends? which type of logo we go for? I am also working on a another simple version of Rangoli logo with the suggetions suggested before. I will upload it tommorow.
