I do have sort of a feature request, but I do not know where to post
that? Anyway, it seems best to discuss it here first:
There is a 'simple' and a 'sophisticated' approach to what I want:
Simple: Add another Calendar entry type 'anniversary' that as a
starting date but no ending date, is repeated annually and is being
displayed along with the number of times it already occurred. This way,
you can add a birthday or anniversary and not only know when it takes
place, but also how old that person will be or how many years they are
Sophisticated: Add another entry 'birthday' and 'anniversary' to
contacts that will, if filled in or changed, automatically create or
adjust a corresponding calendar entry.
What do you think?
"Years ago my mother used to say to me...
'In this world, Elwood, you must be Oh-so-smart, or Oh-so-pleasant.'
Well, for years I was smart I recommend pleasant."
Elwood P. Dowd (Jimmy Stewart) in 'Harvey' (1950)
