Hi Yves, After a short look in the problem I think there must be a rewrite of the PlainSocketImpl. The problem is that the AddressFamily must be set before bind. At this time it is not known in the current implementation. The next problem is that for Windows XP a 2 Stack implementation must be written and for Vista and higher there must be a dual stack implementation. Which problem occur with MONO and under linux I can currently not say. All this I want not start without a set of Junit tests. Do you can write some Junit tests?
