Hello. I'm running Privoxy 3.0.21 on OS X 10.7.5 with Mozilla Firefox latest version (beta testing enabled). The only firewall enabled is Little Snitch but it's an outgoing firewall and does not affect Privoxy's behavior. No other proxies are installed. CONFIGURATION: DEFAULT/Cautious (since installation)

It did work flawlessly till some time ago, but since then the advertising industry has become more aggressive and I'm seeing a lot of ads - ads that Privoxy used to 100% block before.

For this reason, I want to edit the actionsfile, and set it to maximum aggressiveness. I'm conscious that some sites will stop working, but PRIVOXY-FORCE exists for this.

What's the matter? Editing the actionsfile is disabled by default - as specified in the user manual. How do I enable it?

    Hi,

GUI actions file editing is disabled by default as a security measure. To enable it, you will need to edit the file /usr/local/etc/privoxy/config, find the entry labelled 'enable-edit-actions' and set it to 1 instead of 0.Privoxy will pick up the change immediately, and thereafter you'll be able to edit actions via the Web browser.
