Summary: Why doesn't it effect certain sites?

Initial Comment:
I can't seem to figure out why it won't effect certain sites. Specifically Wikipedia, I also notice it some search engines also seem uneffected.

For example if I put this in detault.filter:
FILTER: test this is a test
s@test@7357@gUis

And this in user.action:
{ +filter{test} }
/

Test will become 7357 on almost all sites, but not Google or Wikipedia.

I tried removing the three instances of "wiki" under
# No filtering for sourcecode or other automatically parsed content
but that didn't change anything.

Privoxy version 3.0.6 for Windows and Firefox 2.0.0.5

Like hal9 said.. maybe the sites that don't work are sending you
compressed data??

Try changing your user.action to

{ +filter{test} +prevent-compression }
/

and see if it works then.
