    Hi,

I get the following error when I'm starting iipanalyze.py:

Unable to get number of resolutions from server with URL /fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?FIF=/..path_to_my_tif../test.tif&obj=resolution-number
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "iipanalyze.py", line 546, in <module>
    main(sys.argv[1:])
File "iipanalyze.py", line 537, in main
    except SystemExit as (errno, strerror):
ValueError: need more than 0 values to unpack

    with

    python iipanalyze.py -l /var/log/nginx/access.log -i /..path_to_my_tif../test.tif -r 5 -b -o iip_hits_test.jpg -w 600

Does anybody know any solution for this?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Markus

IIPAnanlyze makes a request to the server to get some metadata about the image first. Check your nginx access file to make sure this is happening. Also check the iipsrv log to see how this request is processed.

Hi Ruven, thanks for your reply! The request seems to be ok, IIP Server handles the request correctly..

    … "GET /fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?FIF=/.. path to tif ../test.tif&&obj=resolution-number
    HTTP/1.1" 200 34 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_2) AppleWebKit/536.26.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.2 Safari/536.26.17" "-"

    iipsrv.log:

    Server: iipsrv/0.9.9
    Cache-Control: max-age=86400
    Last-Modified: Tue, 11 Sep 2012 16:34:03 GMT
    Content-Type: application/vnd.netfpx

    Resolution-number:7

When I'm requesting the url the browser starts downloading the iipsrv.fcgi file.

So seems that there's a problem with the nginx config. Even though this isn't a nginx help forum, do you know if s there any description how to handle these requests with nginx?

Adding "application/vnd.netfpx netfpx;" to mime.types didn't help in this case..

    Thanks!

I presume you've configured nginx to output the log in CLF format? Otherwise iipanalyze is a script written in python, so it should be easy for you to debug if you want to try that.

The log should be in the right format:

    127.0.0.1 - - [..Time..] "GET /fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?FIF=/..../urn_000001_view_001.tif&CNT=1&SDS=0,90&JTL=5,196 HTTP/1.1" 200 5872

Ok, I'll try to debug the script by myself.
