    I'm thinking a way to protect user images so private images are not accessible
    by a different user....even if he catch the image url in some way.
    Do you have any ideas to do that? any native support from the IIPImage server?

    No, there isn't any native support from the IIP server for this kind of thing
    at the moment. I guess this could be done via session-based authentication in
    which case the IIP server would need to check each request with some kind of
    authentication agent.

    Alternatively, without modifying the IIP server, you could add a layer (in
    PHP, Java etc) in front of the IIP server which does the authentication before
    forwarding (or not) the request to the IIP server, which is never directly
    accessible from the outside.
