According to the reporter of Debian bug #304158, doing an 'ifp get this_file_does_not_exist' will result in a 0 byte file on the local drive (I can't verify this right now, because I left my iFP in another state).

I fixed this bug in CVS version($Id: ifp_routines.c,v 1.54). But, this version is dirty. We should fix in this weekend. sorry.
I released ifp-line-0.2.4.6, it include bugfix. I close this bug.
