OK, to explain what I want to do. My local machine is an Arch installation running pulseaudio usually, and I've got it set up with icecast and jack so that it's working well with idjc.

Now, I also have a VPN running an opensim server. I'd like to offload the icecast server and jack to the vpn. Th purpose is to make use of the greater bandwidth, and not lose audio on jack unaware applications on my local machine when running IDJC, so is it possible to connect to a jack server on the VPN from my local machine without having to run jack locally (I know net jack will do it, but that still requires running jackd locally).

If so, are there any good instructions out there (I can't find any).

    TIA
