A nice feature would be to automatically fit the scanned image to the printable area. Since this requires an automatic prescan (as eg. the Epson CopyUtility does), I would realize this a checkbox whose check state is after an application restart the same as before.

    No that is not what I mean. If the scanned image is larger than the printable area of the printer, then iCopy sould shrink it such that nothing is cut off.
    For example, you want to copy an invoice in DIN A4 which contains information close to the border of the sheet. Now, you have to set the zoom to say 97% to see all on the copy printed by the A4 printer inside its printable margins. The mentioned option should do this automatically.
