I've tried the same commandline for the regular object and that works.
Only difference (in perfmon) is that the object has 'VM' in front of the regular name (VM Processor instead of Processor)...

I'm trying to monitor the vm counters in esx guests.
I can add the counters in perfmon, but when I add the counters in Icinga and try to read them with check_nt it returns 0 (for every VM Memory/VM Processor counter).

Anyone ran into this and got an solution??

Thanx in advance...

check_nt returning 0 indicates that the counters are wrong (e.g. backslashes not escaped). Enable debugging in nsc.ini, start NSClient++ in test mode and have a look at the messages.
