Normally IceWM should automatically add /usr/lib/icewm/themes/Infadel2 to your font path as soon as it finds the .pcf file. Hmm... X11 needs this ugly "fonts.dir" files before it accepts a font directory. Could you check if /usr/lib/icewm/themes/Infadel2 contains "fonts.dir"? If there isn't such a file the installation process might have failed. Did configure/make install print any error messages about mkfontdir? Ciao Mathias No go there. Here is the fonts.dir corith ~ # ls -la /usr/lib/icewm/themes/Infadel2/fonts.dir -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 73 Jul 8 08:14 /usr/lib/icewm/themes/Infadel2/fonts.dir corith ~ # cat /usr/lib/icewm/themes/Infadel2/fonts.dir 1 snap.pcf -artwiz-snap-regular-r-normal-sans-10-10-75-75-p-62-iso8859-1 corith ~ # Pretty cool eh? The only thing that I can think of, is that my shell isn't expanding the * in the error message? Just for more info, here is the error message again: IceWM: Warning: Could not load font "-artwiz-snap-regular-r-normal-sans-10-*". There were not any errors in configure, make, or make install. -- Craig Callender ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
