Bonk... The dependency with gdk-pixbuf-xlib appears to be in yimage.h:5 and wmswitch.cc:10 I don't have imlib - it doesn't seem to be part of RHEL5. I managed to compile glib-1.2.10 after commenting out some calls to g_warning. There seems to be a weird conditional error in glib.h. However, pixbuf now gives a million errors - it needs some unknown image libraries - imlib maybe? Although glib is now installed, there are still some configuration problem with it, since the header files can't be found by pixbuf. Guess I have to copy the hear files somewhere. Cc: Oosthuysen, Herman Subject: RE: Compile on RHEL5 > Configure now fails on gdk-pixbuf. I think this is really an artificial dependency, IceWM does not actually require gtk/glib 1.x, but imlib may oy may not require it, depending on how it was compiled. If you compile imlib yourself, it will use the old gtk libs only if it finds them. There is no --disable or --without option, but if you want to force it to build without linking with an installed gtk1, you can always do something ugly like ./configure --with-gtk-prefix=3D/dev/null Sources: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/imlib/1.9/imlib-1.9.15.tar.bz2 HTH, - Jeff The information contained in this e-mail message is PRIVATE.
