I don't honestly know what that means, but that's what was said on http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=11926 . I tried OOo on other window managers and they worked fine. Because of this little fault, all OOo windows open up with black areas making them really annoying to use. Moving the window fixes it, but that's annoying to do for each and every dialog box. Apparently the OOo people have implemented a workaround, but it would be really nice to have a fix rather than a workaround. I've only tried this with Debian's IceWM from Sid, but others mentioned the same problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2003-04-03 22:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 Fixed in CVS. (it resets the gravity to NorthWest gravity) But ooffice should not be setting StaticGravity directly. If they wish such behavior from the WM, they should be using WMNormalHints and the win_gravity field from there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=713014&group_id=31 |
