The patch is a unified patch created using: diff -r -u icewm-1.2.7-ref
icewm-1.2.7-FreeBSD >! ~/patch-for-IceWM-1.2.7-FreeBSD
IceWM was configured using: ./configure --disable-i18n --disable-nls
Patch dry-run: cat ~/patch-for-IceWM-1.2.7-FreeBSD | patch --check -p1
Patch was applied using: cat ~/patch-for-IceWM-1.2.7-FreeBSD | patch -p1;
make install; startx
Tested using: " ls -rtlFGR / ". Also by running "make clean" and "make" on
the IceWM source tree. CPUStatus seems to reflect the CPU load accurately.
Note that the src/Makefile now has "LFLAGS = -lkvm". I am not an autoconf
magician and so I dont know how to do this automagically. I am sure you'll
be able to make those changes quite easily. I haven't seen a performance
hit but it might something to keep an eye out for (?).
I love IceWM and you guys are doing a GREAT job. Thanks for a fast, clean,
efficient and useful WM!
