Deletion of unnecessary null pointer checks?

I have found a few places in a source files where a null pointer check is used before a call of the operator "delete[]".
http://icewm.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/icewm/icewm-1.2/src/yxapp.cc?revision=1.27&view=markup
Would you like to omit such an extra check?
