#80 Locked out of laptop, can't find where to enter password

I am locked out of my laptop. I thought I had configured the ialertu correctly. I selected remote as I thought it would work with a phone app. I downloaded the phone app ualertme and armed my device. As i tried to set up the app, I realized it was missing some info and when I access my laptop it is locked and alarmed, there is no password box that comes up on the screen.

I know my password, is there any backdoor way for me to get a password box to show up on my laptop while alarmed so I can disable it. Please help.

There is no dialog. When the mac is locked.just type your password into the lock screen. There's no visible indication until the last character is typed, or, you make a mistake.

Thank you - I had done that and got it to work (just didn't realize that is
what worked LOL) I thought it just stopped on it's own as i didn't think it
was actually typing.
