hi Wolke i actually saw this too some time ago while i was making a new drumkit : the denon CRB 90 (check this link for 'the making off'<http://audio-and-linux.blogspot.be/2012/06/denon-crb-90-rhythm-box-for-hydrogen.html> and goto the 'GM midi mapping' section) i like the idea for this patch, but what will happen to old songs ? will the notes on the first line (the current kick on note 36) be moved to the second line? in other words, will the notes from old songs still trigger the same sounds ? or will they shift? if existing songs are not affected then i'm 100% in favor of this patch ! IMO it's very important that you have 2 kicks available grtz Thijs 2012/9/22 m.w...@gm... <m.w...@gm...> > hey, > i just noticed that hydrogens first instrument in instrument list is > mapped to midi note > 36. but most gm compatible drum-boxes send note 35 for accoustic bass > drumm by default. > currently this issue result in a instrument shift -1. and note 35 will > ignored ( no bd ). > > i write a patch against this problem. see attachment. > if all devs agree i will check in the changes. > > greetings wolke > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > How fast is your code? > 3 out of 4 devs don\\\'t know how their code performs in production. > Find out how slow your code is with AppDynamics Lite. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;262219672;13503038;z? > http://info.appdynamics.com/FreeJavaPerformanceDownload.html > _______________________________________________ > Hydrogen-devel mailing list > Hyd...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/hydrogen-devel > > -- follow me on my Audio & Linux blog <http://audio-and-linux.blogspot.com/> ! |
