My experience with software for music began with hydrogen. The reason is: I couldnt afford the price tag for a MAC + Digital Performer. The good thing about oss software is that it gives anyone the opportunity (i.e. free tools) to do and learn things. If I hadnt gcc I couldnt start programming, if I hadnt latex I couldnt write really professional looking documents, if I hadnt Hydrogen I couldnt ... bitch about bugs :-pp Well, a dual boot from time to time is necessary to kill a few hundreds of monsters, tho. That should answer your second statement, Windows partition == PSX console ;-) -- [Klaatu barada niktu] ------------------- Journeyman of 666, Inc. RLU #279448 |
