It should be possible to put a generic flag in a dictionary telling that compound words should never be suggested.
Danish uses compounding a lot. Therefore the Danish Hunspell dictionary is full of words marked with compound flag. This means that when the spellchecker finds a misspelled word, it will often suggest a number of "weird" compund words. Users do not realize that these words are not actually words in the dictionary, so the dictionary maintainers often get complaints about lots of "bad" words in the dictionary. A good solution would be if we could put a flag in the dictionary telling that compund words should never be suggested (but, of course, still tolerated in users' text).
