I am trying to get hunspell installed on a Windows 7 system. Following a recommendation I found at http://www.distasis.com/write/checker.htm#spell, I downloaded the hunspell 1.3.2-2.4 RPM files from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32/openSUSE_Factory/noarch/, extracted them, and installed them under C:/hunspell/usr.

I set up these three environment variables: DICDIR, DICTIONARY, and WORDLIST

In a cygwin bash shell, I entered the command "hunspell -L <file_name> and I got a complaint such as this one.

error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I fixed that problem and another one like it, but I'm stymied by the following error message:

error while loading shared libraries: ?: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don't know how to proceed and I'd appreciate any pointers.

    Thanks,

    Wayne
