According to Christian Fredrickson: > Is there a way to update the HTDIG module without having to reinstall? Well, you could grab the .tar.gz source distribution, reconfigure and recompile it, then just replace the htdig binary with the new one. It may be easier, given you're using the Red Hat RPM, of just taking the .src.rpm file, installing it, replacing the .tar.gz file in the SOURCES directory, updating the spec file, and rebuilding a new RPM with the latest snapshot. Then, you can just update your system with the new RPM you built. However, in reply to Gabriele you also wrote... > No, the Authentication is setup in the httpd.conf file in Apache and is > using the mod_auth_ldap module to authenticate. If you're not using Basic authentication, then all this is a moot point anyway, as Basic authentication is all that htdig supports right now. -- Gilles R.
