Dear Sir, I have installed Dig-3.1.6 on a Red Hat 7.2 Linux machine. After installed Dig on my machine and ran rundig. My htsearch command was pointing to the wrong place. I finally realize that within Red Hat 7.2, it has htsearch sitting in /usr/bin already. Everytime when I called htsearch, it called the one under /usr/bin instead of /opt/www/cgi-bin. I removed the whole Dig program and all the ht* program from /usr/bin. I reinstalled Dig once again and htsearch seems work better except it kept asking me to enter value for format: [root@crystal cgi-bin]# htsearch Enter value for words: htsearch Content-type: text/html Enter value for format: When I give it a random number. It gives me a full page of something. I open the search.html on netscape and type in something in the search window. It will go to file:///cgi-bin/htsearch and just sit there. I am thinking maybe it is waiting for me to Enter value for format: Thank you for your help. Joyce |
