There needs to be some way of telling htdig not to index
certain things on a page, parhaps by encasing what you
want to hide with something like <exlude>hidden text
from htdig</exclude>. I've noticed that htdig indexes
items in a drop down menu which produces keyword
matches for every page if you search for a keyword in
the menu. It would be nice to have htdig ignore things
like this so repetitive keywords don't get indexed.

    This is already implemented, and controlled by the
    attributes noindex_start and noindex_end. See
    <http://www.htdig.org/attrs.html#noindex_start>.
    The default values are <!--htdig_noindex--> and
    <!--/htdig_noindex-->.
