Talking about version 2.x does not help in this context.

Please try with the current snapshot jar which is 2.2.5+ and report.

This may not be related to HSQLDB if your setup is multithreaded and uses transactions in a way that one is waiting for the other.

If it is related to HSQLDB, you can use jconsole and report the thread list. In any case please discuss this type of issue in the Help Forum, not in the mailing list.

Subject: [Hsqldb-user] HSQL 2.x hangs, 1.8.4 doesnt

We have a junit test suite that runs great under 1.8.4.  When we try to use any 2.x build, the test suite hangs, 100% of the time. Switching back to 1.8.4 and everything works again.

Is there anything new in 2.x from an out-of-the-box configuration/setup standpoint that might be causing this hang that I could start looking at?

Regards,

Nick
