I test HotShots under Windows and I found it very useful but it's not available in most Linux repos so, I suggest to add it to Linux repositories at least for the famous repos (ex. ubuntu and fedora)
Why not but I've no idea how to ... some people has compiled it for ubuntu and archlinux but I did not ask for that and I do not know how to do ?! So, I need some help in order to contact the package maintainer or something similar ...

At now we can use those PPA's for hotshots on Ubuntu:
Seems that ~darklordpaunik8880 is fresher that others.
You can write direct message to owners of this PPA's to officially distribute your package via his PPA, maybe this will be easier instead of create and support your own ppa.
