#24 help with network files

My network is usually reliable. But, it does go down now and then. A few minutes ago, it went down while I was in the middle of a SAVE command. Actually a SAVE macro that does things like SET EOLOUT and then issues the SAVE command. I have no idea where in the sequence of steps we are now. That's because THE is looping doing something. When this happens, Ctrl-Break can cause THE to terminate, which is something I'm not willing to do yet. Although I may have no choice.

The request is for a bit more awareness on THE's part when its environment is "broken". Like when network drives disapperar. Like anything else you can think of. I'd like THE to return to me with an error message so that I can do whatever needs to be done, and not be faced with the unpredictability of Ctrl-Break and what would happen to my files if THE were to be terminated.
