extra blanks in command lines create error msgs

THE-3.3RC1, Linux Fedora Core 14 fully updated.
Extra spaces in the command line for various commands and macros produces error messages.
"c ' ' ' * 1" works as expected
"c ' ' ' * 1" gives an error message, "Error 0017: Target not found ' * "
sl macro with no operands does a "shift left 1 *"
sl macro with a blank at the end produces an error message, "sh: sl: command not found"
This is somewhat similar to bug 3044075 under Windows. But it seems you have a shell between you and THE, so that might have some effect.
Seems to be fixed with RC4! THANKS MARK!
