We have released version 1.0.5 of the Harpia Project. Harpia is a topic-centric content management system. Topic-centric design lets the user follow a logical thought through topics to find all associated items to that topic. Each item (i.e. news, links, faq, etc.) are associated to one or more topic and the all the items are displayed or each topic. This release fixes all of the know core issues to date.
We have released Harpia BETA 1. While this program is still in beta we do not know of any open issues at this time. *** We are sure they are out there, we just can't find them ***
The custom META keywords & description have been completed. You can now add the meta tags you wish by topic and a set of defaults for the system. On each page if you are in a topic it will show the metas for that topic if there are none it will show the default metas.
Now by adding one variable to the module admin screen you can have all related items show up on the topic pages. The admin can also turn each item on or off. The developer doesn't need to modify the admin or the topics pages.
Harpia now uses search engine / spider friendly URL's. Instead of having http://www.mydomain.com/prog.php?var=1234&var2=jhg you can use: http://www.mydomain.com/id/prog/var/1234/var2/jhg/
The unlimited topic tree now allows you to create an open tree structure of topics and children topics. It then takes 3 lines of code to plug this feature into any module and have that module now link by one or all of the topics.
Welcome to the Harpia Project !
