Go right ahead and do it Mark. Sounds like it will be no problem for you. 73s, Terry, KJ4EED Message: 8 Date: Sun, 20 Dec 2009 16:05:19 -0500 From: Mark Pilant <n1...@ar...> Subject: Re: [Hamlib-developer] YAESU FTDX-5000, new addition To: Hamlib developers <ham...@li...> Message-ID: <4B2...@ar...> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Hi Terry. A while back, I sent Stephane the changes (since integrated) to make the Yaesu CAT support more table driven for their higher end rigs. This mainly consisted of the big table in newcat.c and the command validation functions. This was supposed to be in preparation for doing the 950 support, but I ran out of time :-( Thank you for completing it. When I did this work, I noticed there was a fair amount of similarity in the CAT commands for the 450, 950, 2000, and 9000. Given this, I would expect the 5000 to also have a similar set. So I would expect it to be fairly easy to get the basic functions working. But it will be good to get an actual manual to confirm the supported commands. 73 - Mark N1VQW |
