The subject says it all. Recursive directory searching
would be helpful for those of us who categorize all of
our ROMs by directory. For example I have all of mine
categorized A-Z.

Until this is implemented, I have a quick tip for those
who do something like this. Create a script that
recursivly searches all directories within a given tree
and for each file found, create a symbolic link to a
univeral directory.

The script I used looks like this:

#!/bin/bash
find /usr/local/mame/roms -type f |
while IFS= read -r filename
do
ln -s $filename /usr/local/mame/allroms
done

In my case, usr/local/mame/roms contains 26
directories, A-Z.
Just sub out my directory names with yours, chmod +x,
and run the script. Works like a charm.
