We experienced similar weird crashes back in the dark ages when we started linking with iconv. It turned out it's necessary to use -MD compile flag instead of -ML or -MT flags to use msvcrt.dll (multithread) instead of libc.lib or libcmt.lib. Incidentally, it crashed on stdio funcs too. I suppose the problem is in the build procedure again... Is it possible to write a simple selfcontained Gtk+ program that exhibits the same problem? It would make easier asking elsewhere why it doesn't work (and increase the chance of getting an answer). Yeti -- Anonyms eat their boogers. |
