GWC does a fantastic job of cleaning up the old Vinyl
I'm digitising - it cleans the noise without
introducing any nasty artefacts (unlike DePopper, which
I used to use.)
A couple of things that would make it better from my
point of view (and probably not TOO difficult:
1: it would be great to be able to use GWC in batch
mode. The way I work with it is to select the whole
file and run it through "remove pops/clicks). It would
be great if instead of that I could do something like
"gwc --remove-pop inputfile.wav outputfile.wav"
2: I don't think there's really a need for the dialogue
to confirm the saving of audio to a file. The dialogue
that asks the user to confirm they want to over-write
an existing file makes sense, but if there isn't one
there in the first place, there's no need to confirm it.
Thanks for a great program.!
