[Gumstix-users] How do I decouple the tool chain build form kernel .config changes?

I was wondering why the hell uclib needs to get re-build every time I
change a kernel .config setting?

I should only need to rebuild the tool chain if I change a syscall.

It was PAINFUL waiting for the make to complete when I was isolating the
CPU_FREQ config thing.
