Hi, I used the configuration of caspa-stream-raw but without the package installed. As there was no error using gstreamer, I thought all necessary plugins would be there already. After installing it (from repository), it works. But the network stream is very very slow (lag >30 sec) even if I use Jpeg compression with a very low resolution and quality. But, as we are not planing to use a video stream (just single frames) it seems to be OK for us. However Mplayer is still not working, showing the same error as before. Even preloading does not help. LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2src:device=/dev/video6 -vo png -frames 1 As gstreamer is working I think hat the problem is located somewhere in mplayers configuration files. But I seems everything alright to me. You are right Thijs, it was OK for testing but is way to old to use it in an productive environment. Moritz Of topic: We are going to use the system, as an student experiment (PATHOS-REXUS), for horizon detection in an REXUS sounding rocket under space like conditions (up to 100km height). Therefore the system is tested under extreme conditions ( e.g. down to 10^-4 bar, very fast rise from -40 to 60°C, 100g shock...). If someone is interested in the test results, don't hesitate to contact me. -- View this message in context: http://gumstix.8.x6.nabble.com/Overo-Waterstorm-using-Yocto-Caspa-not-working-properly-No-such-driver-v4l2-tp4970450p4970455.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
